Results of the 2020 Population Census of Aceh Province

Based on the results of the 2020 Population Census (SP2020), the population of Aceh Province in September 2020 was 5,274,871 people. With a land area of Aceh Province of 57,956 km2, the population density of Aceh Province is 91 people / km2. During 2010-2020, the average population growth rate of Aceh Province was 1.56 percent.
The highest population was recorded in North Aceh District, amounting to 602,793 people. The lowest population was recorded in Sabang City with 41,197 inhabitants.
The total male population in Aceh Province as a result of SP2020 was 2,647,563 people or 50.19% of the population of Aceh.
