"SP2020 Goes to School" Statistics of Langsa Municipality

     The 2020 population census (SP2020) continues to be echoed through various media outreach, both through print media, electronic media, social media and outreach directly to the public. In the last two weeks BPS Langsa City conducted socialization activities to schools in Langsa City, entitled "SP2020 Goes to School". to target millennials in the context of SP2020 socialization. The schools are SMAN 1, SMAN 3, SMKN 1, SMKN 2, and SMKN 3 Langsa City
 
     The form of socialization activities "SP2020 Goes to School" BPS Langsa City, one of which was held simultaneously with the implementation of the flag ceremony at the School. This activity was carried out at Langsa 1 SMK on January 20, 2020, and at SMKN2 and SMAN 3 Langsa on January 27, 2020. In this activity, the Head of BPS of Langsa City was given the opportunity to become a ceremonial supervisor as well as conveying information regarding the implementation of the 2020 Population Census to all students and teachers present at the flag ceremony.

     In addition to the socialization activities during the flag ceremony, the "SP2020 Goes to School" socialization activity was also carried out separately in the School Hall by presenting teacher and student representatives from each class. This form of socialization was carried out at SMAN 1 and SMKN 3 Langsa. The series of activities "SP2020 Goes to School" include an explanation of the SP2020 socialization material by the Team from Mako SP2020 BPS Langsa City ,and also enlivened with a quiz with prizes provided by the committee.

     School students are one of the important segments in the implementation of SP2020. Students as agents of change are considered to have better competence and as millennial generation more sensitive to the times and also technology literate. The active role of students is certainly very much needed for SP2020 to run optimally.
